@tnv - One would assume that as Skylake-EP comes available, units would ramp in a big way - in the same way that Broadwell-EP ramps down - particularly given the long delay for Skylake.

So what if AMD is outselling Intel? AMD is currently making exactly $0.00 from each chip sold, because they are still recouping their R&D investment - something that Intel has already done.

Just heard in a release plan business update yesterday that Skylake Xeon is selling incredibly well... Over 20M units so far this quarter.... Easy to see why the market is getting on the train! 300B market cap, here we come!
No surprise, given all things equal people pick AMD given the way intel treats people
