In the last year or so Dell EMC is laying off roughly 500-600 people in diverse geographical locations every month. This makes for about 7,000 people per year. If the pace of the layoffs continues unabated for 4-5 years this will result in 35K people shaved off Dell EMC workforce which will restore the balance.
I know we have been having consistent layoffs on the small scale, but this number seems way too high to simply fly under the radar. Where did this info come from?
I was told VSP is no longer being offered by upper management. Its not a leaked secrete either. ZZZ is when someone gets wiped off the internal email list. If you go to your email create new, type zzz it shows the date, and persons name of when they either got laid off or left the company. ZZZ will be at the beginning of the persons name and it also show the position they worked. Most are layoffs. Not sure if Dell has thit but EMC still does and has done it like that for quite some time.
I would gladly take the VSP!!!

things are really quiet to the point that it makes sense to cut some workstaff ,I heard jan 2018 aswell,dont know about if its open to all or not,wonder what kind of package it would be
Dell would not offer another VSP again. Too many people left last time
heard finance adding up for packages and how much it will cost the company and reports of jan 2018 there will be packages open to all,,anyone else hear this ?
