This is something I have witnessed in my three year stint in Dell Bangalore. Majority of the employees don't have any regard to the company and the relationship is just utilitarian. You get paid and stay employed. There is no sense of company culture and ethos. This kind of a lackadaisical attitude I see even among senior leadership. I have been in many other companies before where leadership has inspired employees to hold company in high regard. In Dell people keep badmouthing leadership starting from Michael Dell. Surprisingly they don't show their displeasure about the company in Tell Dell feedback as they fear retaliation. It is two way as Dell India management does not trust employees and everything's like laptop scanning and security checking creates a sense of mistrust and alienation in employees. Very sad state of affairs.

Cheer up. People work so they can obtain money to exchange for goods and services. If we're extra lucky employees, the job comes with great chairs, steady power, and access to a coffee maker nearby. Sometimes you even get a team that shares your sense of humor.
Even Michael Dell only works for money. If you do not bring any value we chat is money to the company you will be sacked. People who search for meaning and motivation other than money in their jobs are morons.
this is just a job. stop trying to add meaning into it. worklife balance rules

i work for the money only and some reimbursement. ww rules
Quit your whining. India lacks the innovation. Relying and complaining working for a large corporation shows no advancement. All the so called Engineers, IIT on and on and no innovation. Look at China and USA, Europe, what has India contributed .
The partner support/quote team in Bangalore is a awesome. The channel loves them!
Sad to hear that morale is low.
Dell India is a shuttle.
