We've been hiring a lot of expensive people there - maybe a good place to start.

I took the VJRP and am so happy about it now... I exercised all my options earlier this year at 29 something, so I missed last years peak in November or whenever it was unfortunately.
So I have no financial ties to GE anymore, but I spent over a decade and a half there and still love the people and the company. Predix, I never loved and it has to go. It's been a sh--show all along. And the leadership there is a joke. The top guy in San Ramon can't do an all hands without coming across as your goofy uncle... the old CMO made a bunch of promises that were not delivered on and then effed off on a Europe trip and then a MSFT job.
@BuffaloBill. Share price is rubbish, this time last year it was $31. The quality of execs is average mainly due to outsourcing from 1997 they lack hands on experience in the real world IT because the spent the last 20 years hiding behind excel and PowerPoint. GE once was cutting a edge IT service predix is not cutting edge its just playing catch up but not doing a great job because execs lack depth.
Wow. @BuffaloBill, are you for real? The overwhelming arrogance in that post is disgusting, yet typical no less from what I would guess an exec wannabe?
By all means, keep the "visionary" blinders on, the company is doing great, predix is perfect, stock price is up! Just don't be surprised when walking papers get drafted up behind your back because "we deserve to" will be your right to read it here again and again, long after life rafts are deployed from a drowning ship.
Stop spreading rumors. Executives get paid highly because we deserve to and you don't, yet. Work on your career, your visionary skills and deliver good results to us, promotions will come.
