Dark times - yes. But Sabre will survive. For those that have been around you know this business is cyclical. Yes, it's down now, but we've been there before. To those laid off - good luck.

I'm already former employee outside od dfw , but hearing names of most of the people that were laid off I can only say: good job Sabre. Many of those people are genuinely nice people, but damn... they were so bad at their job. Sabre needs major house cleaning in terms of hordes of employees that are absolutely not up to date with the way software companies work nowadays.
They should have asked for voluntary separations, like the airlines have done, but I guess then they also have to pay out a big chunk of $$
No, it will not surivive as long as Menke is in the power. How on earth do you fire good quality working people with families to sustent while you have a line of people asking to be layedoff instead. This is madness, this is the way the high ranking management showed the sabre employees that they lost focus. F--- you integirty matters. F--- you Menke.
