Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

To all the folks laid off... I'm very sorry. I know it hurts, it s---s, and it feels very unfair. Sabre is a company hanging on by its fingernails. It's not in a healthy state and hasn't been for a very long time. Due to its incapable upper management, lack of vision and cutting-edge products, and having to attract and keep customers by slashing the cost of products, Sabre cannot keep up with its competitors. But don't lose hope. There are tons of IT jobs out there. Hold your head high and feel confident that you did a good job while at Sabre. I could tell you how unethical and morally corrupt Sabre is and this is a total reflection on upper management but it's all been said here before. People choose to believe what they want. Best of luck to those laid off and those still at Sabre.
