Thread regarding Kellogg layoffs

Guess who'll pay for latest profit drop?

How does a company lose 53 mill and the CEO still keeps his job

Because there are many more scapegoats at Kellogg who will pay for this with their jobs, even if it had nothing to do with them. Queue new round of layoffs as part of the next "restructuring" - God, I hate that word - and everybody will be happy. Everybody but the workers, that is, but it's not as if we matter.

Exactly right this new sales force is the barrier protecting these morons in Battle Creek. This new sales force will be doing a week of training all together in Dallas next month. They will get them pumped up with the new catchy "Game On" tag line and get them all trained and ready to go in the "new world of selling" then a year later when it falls flat on its face they will get the blame and will face the same layoffs we are facing now as the sales team is trimmed down even more to merge the morning foods and snacks reps into the same position and upper management will do the same training with them as the cycle will continue until they cut the sales force down to nothing but part time laborers. Project Wilson is still alive until the year 2020 so it's inevitable many more layoffs are on the way.

Come fall when sales drop below supply the bakeries will begin laying off.

An early Christmas present from Kelloggs:

Mommy, why don't we have any presents under the Christmas tree?

Sorry son, Kelloggs the company I work for laid me off before Christmas. I don't have any money. I think we may need to sell one of your kidneys for money.

We all know the "New" Snacks Reps will be the new scapegoats. Do you think management is that stupid to not place some layer to blame for their incompetence? Come on.

What will be fun is If and When they do outsource the reps at store level. Sales will plummet.

The account teams better start looking real busy. They are the next level to be "reorganized". Management will bounce the vets in the Acct teams (salary dump) and keep their precious Newby food marketing grads who don't have a clue.

Then "Game Over".

JESUS is coming, look busy!

I agree workers pay the price but the board of directors are on crack to allow a CEO to lose 53 mill and still keep there job
