Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Intel paradise and delusions on the Titanic, let us look inside!

I am sure the rich and privileged will be out and posting and the portage that have no clue and will believe the delusions on Circuit as they don't know better and also post here too. Don't believe a thing the ship will surely sink 😊

Let see the whole semiconductor industry is booming as never before, so the biggest ship rode the tide and on paper looks good, but let us look deeper.

Core x86 is slightly up with a viable competitor who is finally executing. Anyone rember in the late 90s when AMD executed for two cycles? Remember in those days intel had a real process lead, now they don't.

Sever business is the same, slightly up and missed on forecast as cloud continues to squeeze efficiency. Same story as client, but two viable competitors; AMD and the ARMy! Both now on silicon process at the same node as Intel. Last time intel had that kind of competition they folded and decided not to compete as they couldn't.

X86 wall is crumbling and slightly up. Mobile is the center of the universe and intel has nothing of substance there to build on. Without growth volume can't amortize the huge cost of the silicon.

Core manaufacturing which was the foundation for all of Intel competitive advantage is in shambles. The company was late on 14nm and still never delivered to plan even four years later they are way behind their goals. They had a two year lead but now TSMC and Samsung are matched and ramping far larger volumes in the back of mobile volume that intel can't hope as they failed in mobile! Samsung and TSMC and memory companies have scale that now exceed intel and can afford to bet bigger now. Look at their published schedules versus intel skipping theirs!

Where is 10nm, catch and ask any product leader or Murthy and ask how the whole intel product roadmap was torn and ruined by TMG and LTD failure!

So how doe the future look, intel going to ride 14nm how long? When did BK promise 10nm and why believe it anymore than what they said two years ago. Ask anyone in Hillsboro how it looks!

Lastly let us examine billions spent on overpaid acquisitions. This is the clearest sign intel and the senior management hasn't nurtured a capable not visionary cultural. Classic innovators arrogance problem poisoned by narrow x86 and TMG nurtured behavior that will result in the expensive acquisition flops. Intel has been late and failed in every attempt to catch the next wave, nothing has changed, so the result will be the same!

You decide, things really going well with bright future or just a ship with an overwhelmed dumb clown captain riding the rising tide on a ship about to break in two and plunge to the bottom on 10?

But,but, but what happened to ACT2, bruh? Things are so bad for Intel that they made a 2 Billion Dollar profit, things are so good for AMD that they had a net loss of 16 million dollars.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I've always thought it would take a while for Intel's once-insurmountable lead to really crumble. This is NOT an overnight process. Intel is dead money, but it will be a long, slow burn. Pace yourselves - there is good money to be made on this stock without owning a single share!
