Yes it was hard working there when the bad times hit, and I had to experience the stress of the yearly layoffs.
The time the company did not give out any raises for 2 years and no bonuses for 3 years.
It was made worse when the workers had to read the headlines in the news about State Street donating $500,000 to this charity or $ 1 million to the Arts.
People the good old days of 1970 to 1990 are over and you have to realize you can easily be discarded
