What is wrong with you all, you have a chance to unite and not fall victim to a Company that does not have your best interests in mind. Everyone is watching you wishing they had the same chance to vote to Unionize. This is your one and only shot at this and rumor has it you are going to choke. Don't wait to see if things gets better. IT WILL NOT. Hilber has fed so many people the same Kool Aid and they bought it and are now paying the price. You are supposed to be leaders in your Depot and from the outside looking in it looks like many of you are cowards. Of course the supervisors are kissing your a-- they get a 5g bonus and the aom gets 25gs if you guys vote no so it's there concerns for you is bs they want there bonus so vote yes all the way.

I can tell you all this!! We voted no hakf the guys here quit 6 months after the vote due to broken promises and no more kool aide. It's a tough decision and finger pointing isn't always the right way but some times needed to wake a few guys up. Maintence guys if you have an easy 8-5 schedule you better be prepared if you are thinking about voting no!! You will soon be running trouble calls like the techs and working late just like everyone else. Don't like that move to construction! I see my family once a week now working out of town so much since there was so little construction in my own depot! They don't care about you! You are a number and once you move departments good luck trying to move back it's unheard of. I know you guys seen the pipeline, the promises and even the pie chart. It's all a waists of time there is no plan! They tell us you guys are doing one thing and then tell you we are doing one thing!! I highly highly advise you to vote yes and do not make the mestiake the rest of us made!!! Good luck and or happy trails
The union rep has talked to a lot of people!! You could have called or emailed or went to see him. Just talk to him tomorrow before you vote please!!! It doesn't matter if we outwork contractors, they're cheap benefit free workers!! They will use them for the ebbs and flows according to Lou, but they will replace us and not just house techs they will contract everything!! Before long a contractor will put in a line and the box will be sent in the mail or picked up at the office.
The maintenance guys in Amarillo are not all bad, they are just scared along with everyone else. Suddenlink was a great place to work for and we were all kind of spoiled. Altice on the other hand is horrible, I do not trust anything that has been said over the last several weeks and none of you should either. Im voting Yes and I really hope everyone else does too. Let's get back to sticking up for each other instead of pointing fingers and bashing each other behind each other's backs. Unite Vote Yes
Before they knew we were trying to go union, how often did your Supervisors ever really talk to you or ask how you were doing? Never!!!! For the last 3 weeks they have been kissing our butts and being so nice lol. That all ends tomorrow. Just so you all know they were all coached on the BS that they gave you all when they visited you all in the field today, they all had the same scripted approach. Just go look in that corner office at the shop.
More than just the maintenance group are growing cold feet. The fear of the unknown is eating at many. The threats off loosing perks! The threats of permanent replacements! The threats of pay cuts to get a contract put in place! The fear of lost seniority! The union due's! Many other concerns people have. Their are unknowns if the vote goes either way! I am a maintanace guy in Amarillo and I say let the negotiations begin! I will be voting YES tomorrow!
Do you really want to give them 1 whole year to prepare for this again? No chance they let that happen. Before the last 3 weeks what have they done for us? We stay out til 8-9-10 or later, our routes are always horrible. They can't ever answer a direct question about our future or anything else? My vote will be Yes!!! There was NO communication with the union rep here in Amarillo. So my vote will be NO! I say give Altice the benefit of the doubt for now. We can threaten a Union later on if it comes to that! I'm not afraid of a layoff. Who was the replace us with? Contractors? We outperform contractors on a daily basis.

i was never a big union guy but Altice is bad news for the working man. Plans to increase direct to home shipping and contract labor will further reduce the need for in-house labor. On the other hand you can vote No and watch PriPri get promoted to ZVP. Fact of the matter is that the best employees left the company already and a majority of what is left is just happy to even have a job. Lack of education coupled with shady employment history and background/drug/alcohol issues make them afraid to push back in fear at a closer look...Tough spot , i would suggest focusing on getting out entirely.

All talk but y'all don't want to reveal yourselves. The higher ups were here and yall had your chance to speak your mind. You choked and were afraid. Don't get upset with us because the union guy couldn't get his crap together until the last minute.

No matter what department your in your all going to be crying if you don't take your chance serious. Don't make the same mistake we made. Just wait til you see how they treat you all if you vote no. You shouldn't be playing the blame game and pointing fingers and actually unite and help each other understand what's about to happen. If you vote no the worst is yet to come.

I'll say this we voted no and regret it a 100 percent you better do it or you will regret it trust me. If we could have a revote it would be a landslide of yes.
