What is unfortunate is two fold:
The city of Sidney is running the budget like Tommy did - absolutely no regard for reality ( unfortunately there is no Bass Pro to bail them out)
Secondly, this fiscal disregard is a continuing problem that will no longer be supported by a successful Cabela's and all of the big wages and households of the workforce in general. The money needed will further increase on a supported basis, creating a totally unrealistic base of taxes for home and land owners. This has always been a Sidney" problem - unrealistically high taxation especially when considering the actual services for dollars spent.
Unrealistic, head in the sand, no reaction to realistic financial crisis - sound familiar - we had an incredible teacher this past number of years with Tommy and crew - unfortunately - they were rewarded for failure. Good luck with copying that, Sidney leadership.
Either Sidney leadership needs to get real or we do and make changes
