Why are you shocked by this? It's such a normal routine that it's just one big joke. This place is a joke. For the die hard loyal workers... more power to you don't know how anyone can have tolerance for this non-sense.
Department, your performance, or job title are irrelevant
Which remote departments are you referring to? All of conduents clients that are for remote work? I currently work for one of conduents clients Apple as a AHA. Management keeps reassuring everyone that no layoffs are going to happen (of course). The atmosphere says something else.
What departments?

All signs point to third quarter
Any idea when the emails will be shot out to remote workers that their time is up? I've been waiting. Got my resume up to date and getting applications sent out asap. If you don't live in NJ, KY, NC, or CO, get ready to be laid off or transferred! All remote workers will be let go shortly. We were hit hard in CA
