How a company is willing to let other retailers control there business is beyond me big mistake
My previous post ment to say 37 out of 39 locals.
As a Fred Meyer employee and ex Kellogg Employee, we had our first load thru our distribution center last night. 2 cases of cookies! How is Kellogg's going to stay in business like this? It is one giant hole on the cookie isle and the cracker isle is not looking good. Good thing for Kellogg's, our Store Director is away for a few weeks.
I am a member of Local175 we voted fight to the end and one other local did to out of Chicago I have Ben a Teamster for 28 years I don't understand what happened to all the other locals it's a sad day when Teamster won't stand up to a company like Kellogg's
I am a member of local 175 we voted fight to the end and one other local I don't understand what happened with the other locals it's a very said day when TEAMSTERS vote fight I have been a TEAMSTERS for 28 years it makes me sick
The locals 37 of 37 voted not to let the international fight for our jobs, only to negotiate severance. If you would have backed them they were ready to fight to the end but you guys told them not to.
Usually teamster are all over this situation with Kellogg and union workers being let go maybe Kellogg paid them off not to respond
Other than being out of a job?...for me, the fact that the International Brotherhood of Teamsters did nothing.Since Feb 9 we haven't heard from them, they've refused to return phone calls,e-mails,and letters.
