Our town's financial director even said so. Check out Sidney's local newspaper today in "City adopts 5-year budget" . He quotes, "With Cabela's having rounds of layoffs....."

This site is a perfect example of people just do not know what is going to happen at Cabela's a month from now not to mention five years from today. To me it sounds like just another plan for the city of Sidney to spend more money. This bs has got to shop with the tremendous government spending in Sidney, My advice to the city of Sidney is go to local communities around the area and observe their government spending. then walk into your business in the community and watch what they are doing. ONE THING THEY PROBABLY ARE NOT DOING IS HIRING THREE PEOPLE TO THE JOB ONE PERSON USED TO A FEW YEARS A FEW YEARS AGO.
Ironic that the local press is now covering the story , when the end is near. I guess they did it their way. Thank goodness we had Paige covering the story since day one.
