My fellow app Irt's and multi-unit apm's just heard that next week more cuts are coming to the ap side also. Eliminating multi-unit apms and downgrading shrink levels. Watch your back's... affecting NE. Philly,south jersey,north jersey, ny. Upper Pa.

Yeah to the last person who posted... i agree, our zmap didnt know the last cuts were happening to the morning of. Why would this be any diffrent?

To the Zone Manager, why would they tell you if you may get cut? Some ZMAPS, tell their apms if something's happen. They don't even announce closing stores now and just do it.

Im currently an apra in texas and my apm said he heard this today too from a recently let go zone ops. Anyone else have any info? He said it was hush hush from the recently released zone ops but he didnt hear it from his boss yet

@mhs I have to say you got a good leader. My AP isn't that bad he tries his best, but in the end to me its all team work. Its a waste of money coming from AP people. The guy in charge and 2 other ones. One is an old man I never seen him do anything special he acts like hes actually on fire, but its all show he just goes and talks and flirts with the girls and talks big like he knows what he is doing. I have never seen him help in anyway not even onces. The guy in charge of AP actually tries, but this is a team thing if the team isnt their than he can't do much.

In my store I just see AP as a waste of $$$. They keep stealing I don't think stealing has reduce probably increased with all the stealing especially with the old man AP always walking doing nothing at all he never wants to help I don't think I have ever seen him do something efficient. On the good side he is a nice guy, but definitely a waste of $$$.

I think our AP got some cuts, but if their is more cuts than I can see maybe more hours getting reduce to maybe eliminating AP in my store. Our store isnt big enough to waste $1k a week if they aren't helping shrink theft.

AP can pay for itself with the right personnel! My store for an example, went from 2.5% shrink to 1.61%, a $123k reduction in shrink due to our APM. He's only been there for 10 months but brought the store together as a team to reduce shrink. The key to AP is the right personnel! A lot of them just sit in the office and sleep with the lights off but not our's. He stays motivated which makes us want to help the store in shrink reduction. With all the payroll cuts, he even helps to unload the D.C. Truck, even though he was told not too. I guess you could say he's a leader that earns everyone respect which makes us want to help him!

I heard the same thing from AP in my store. Cuts and reductions. I don't know where the guy got the info but he wasn't happy.
