Got an email about Engage@ibm.com.. 'A brand new way to make IBM an even better place to work.'

They want suggestions on how to improve the continued poor morale. Really? I've got plenty of suggestions but with all that has gone on over the past many years I'm not interested in sharing my opinion.. Delete! This tells me they know they have a serious problem, too little too late I'm afraid. LOL!

The last offering was a joke. IBM promised not to lay me off, but they didn't promise not to force me out by moving my job to Siberia or just declaring me a poor performer. If they want to "improve" the program, they have to offer something real.

I actually got a survey asking why I didn't participate in T2R and what they could do to "improve" the program. Man they really want to get rid of folks > 55! Doesn't help the morale to know that I'm not valued as an experienced employee.

Was this last T2R a cross-IBM initiative or for a few selected organizations Many people in our field organizations are retirement eligible but never received an invite to apply for the T2R program. Maybe that was the problem?
