What they are doing is forcing people to quit. Commissions are on hold for anyone who over achieved. They are only paying up to 100%. The rest MIGHT be paid end of August. They again are shuffling things. We were told no changes and today were told about 3 changes. It is a joke and want to stay because this is the best comedy show ever. You can't make this crap up.

All managers do any more is pick people to be laid off, then lay them off, then try to beat the remaining people into doing their work. Then repeat the cycle.

Management is a protected class. A few managers get taken out in the RAs but on the whole, they are safe. It's ridiculous, since management directs the work and should be held responsible if the business doesn't do well; so they should be the first to go. There are many IBM managers who were crappy at tech work. They're crappy at management too, but they realized it was a safe place so they went for it.

Why the RA does not happen on Management Tier? The board is firmly supporting Ginni? Wow!

As a result of the merge of Cloud/Analytics I've heard that there might not be RAs but people will be managed out through PIPs.

Anyone else heard or got evidence of this?

There is a watching IBM post on facebook that says it's already on. Immediate termination this time (pretty much, last day of work is this month!) with two months severance pay and six months of health insurance at the same rate you're paying now, then cobra for 18 months (per the law, and at a significant rate increase of course)

None, but I am sure it is coming... Revenues can't go down 2 Billion a year and not have to cut down expenses (employees)... Unfortunately, the more they cut, the more the revenues will go down.

Well, if they would cut management instead then may be things would improve!
