There's no brotherhood here . Look how you talk about us Newark techs. Like we are stupid or something . UNION guy like you had to capitalize relocation . How about if we didn't want to relocate ? Everyone is a lawyer nowadays and knows all the answers.

If there had been a union, then the techs would be looking at a RELOCATION. If it were that easy to eliminate a union by simply closing the shop, then every business would follow suit and the NLRB would have a field day. And now, you guys from Newark, who allowed your flimsy wisdom grab hold of your common sense, will pay the price. And all the other depots will assume it won't happen to them. Management just psyched and B.S.'ed you guys into submission. Makes a person wonder if management personnel were former employees of CNN.
Look it up for yourself the owner of the property is selling . Cablevision had a lease with the owner . It someone buys the property and wants to convert it back to a truck depot they can . How can a union stop the owner of the land from selling ? Stupid. You never heard of a union shop closing because the building was sold off ?

There is a for lease sign on the building. I haven't heard anything concrete about moving us. Wonder where we'd go. Lodi or piscataway?
