Thread regarding Kellogg layoffs

Ran into the Nabisco rep today...

I get along great with the Nabisco rep in my area and ran into him today at Walmart he told me the store manager came up to him last week and screamed at him in the middle of the cracker aisle in front of customers for having so many out of stocks on his shelf and how he s---s at his job when the Nabisco rep casually pointed out the fact that all his product was fully stocked and that all the Kelloggs items were empty she took a different tone. I had several meetings with this douchebag manager about the transition and she still has no clue what's going on. For a seasoned store manager to be that obtuse to her own products speaks volumes as to the trend in Walmart right now. The shelf looked awful today i counted 40+ out of stocks on the shelf I was excited to see the lousy merchandising Walmart is doing they are also stuffing items in the wrong homes what a joke! Game Over!

My one expanded foods has been the worst of all. The other SC aren't too bad but shelf conditions now would have gotten us B slapped by our DM last year. I was in on the conf call with the new Snack reps. God bless them all. They were told, no lie, that Kelloggs expects Higher display penetration in all accounts. I'm guessing they are counting the steady diet of auto mods and shippers. ChinaMart reps are expected to visit 8- 9 ChinaMarts a day. I guess those reps, if married, better hit the Kelloggs legal dept now or quit. Their family's will never see them.

Even after all this, leadership still has NO clue what goes on at store level. I'm assuming all Corp ills will be once again be blamed on the New snack reps.

God speed!

The Supercenter I do (or did) on a regular basis has averaged 30-40 out of stocks since they took over ordering. I finally managed to catch up with the food manager and asked her if she was aware of the number of outs. Her excuse was that they were going through a remodel and just didn't have the bodies to work all the freight. I reminded her that the remodel didn't start until a month after they took over our product and that the cookie section alone had had 10 outs since the takeover. She was suddenly very busy and had to go do something.

F--- WalMart and f--- Kellogg's for getting into bed with them.

Game Over!

I went shopping at the WM Supercenter I used to service, I walked down the cookie/cracker aisle and I counted about 50 out of stocks. The Department Manager asked me what happened to our service, and I told him we no longer service Wal Marts. Today was the first time he ever heard of the transition, and their night crew/stock crew was never aware of it. I busted up laughing. It truly is GAME OVER.
