Has anyone gotten a termination of benifits letter?? I called HR and they basically told me to wait it out! I can't get insurance without it ! With the termination date being Aug 1-15 th This is creating big problems and possibly a lapse in coverage. Just one more thing for Kellogg to stress me out about, Like 12 years of this bs wasn't enough.

OK so here is the answer I finally got. Copy the first page of your agreement it has the date of your last day and further on down it says your health coverage stops on that day. send it to the new insurance or call them see if they will accept that till you get a cancellation letter from blue cross. I did this and they said that was fine.
Cobra insurance is a joke and way to expensive
I am having the same problem they told me Blue Cross has to send me a letter after 8/5 telling me I have no insurance. Kelloggs policy is that they don't do that. I don't want a lapse in my insurance either.
