Sorry to be the bearer of more bad HPE news, but a co-worker just was "pre notified" that she will be formally notified on Monday the 17th of July. Last day will be Friday the 28th of July. She was going on a family camping trip for a bit, so the good news couldn't wait. Take care of yourself and family.

I did NOT receive notification from my manager until the FOLLOWING Tuesday – one day past the date indicated in my WFR document.
I assume this to be problematic based upon a number of posts I have seen on this message board, including the OP’s, but have no idea what this might be in violation of: HPE policy; EEOC policy; or both.
Any ideas?
I prefer not to disclose my org details in the event I need to contact an employment attorney as this would give HPE a heads-up about the matter.
IT is all about the top execs bonuses to make money in their false profit, they care nothing about a legacy in making a company great, it is only now a corrupted group of people on the top to make as much as money as possible and they will do anything to destroy the company for their pocket book. There should be a law where a CEO and other Exec must meet sales profits NOT lay off Profits before they get any bonus. If the company fails and they have to lay off then they get ZIP!!! It is corruption folks maybe people in the inside to destroy company on purpose (working for the competitor) so when they go back to that competitor they will have BILLIONS of dollars instead of MILLIONS on the back of the real workers who made the company and product successful then they lay them off without any thought. Disgusting!!!
OdfZHYe-aam, by knowing the organizations being impacted will not prevent nor stop the ax from being dropped. The recommendation is to accept the WFR's will continue until the 1+ billion of savings will be met in the next three years ( if not sooner). It's a simple algorithm- leadership does nothing to promote growth..wait for earning to decide more WFRs required to artificially pump up stocks value... the employees have no control nonsoehatever on the fate of their employment.. no matter how hard you work or how much the customers love you ...it's all about reactive MO (mode of operation) by the top ..the ship already sailed and its fate has been determined .. sinking...
Hewlett Packard Enterprise (original Hewlett-Packard + Compaq (Digital Equipment Corporation) + and others. Technology Services Americas , USA Central Region , Consulting . Hope that clarifies, Good luck to all, don't worry, life will work out. R, OP.
TSC?
I work (worked) in the consulting group, and I was notifed on 7/10 with my last day to be on 7/21. I wish it was performance related, but that was not the issue...top performer, recognition for last quarter, etc.
I can confirm this post is accurate for the US. I know someone that works in the consulting org. And they were "pre notified " also. 7/17 is the next round of wfr
Not as helpful since you failed to disclose the affected organization.
Where? Org?
Ruthlessness from the top...all they care is their bonuses... I have (had) a colleague - hard worker that got WFR with one day notice. Yes, folks this is how the top function nowadays. They do nothing strategically but to displace employees (WFRs)- problem solved now their jobs are safe with more year end fat bonuses...make plan B if you can the severence package is pathetic !!!
