You need to be careful here – Paycor has layoffs and that’s a fact. So, caution right there. They will tell you they are growing but that’s not true – we recently had 10% cut due to sales going down, that’s a fact too…. Paycor never went public about the layoffs - clients were informed that that their current specialists "unexpectedly left Paycor" and lost a ton of clients and current employees because of the way they did the layoffs.
They did them throughout the day on March 7th and once all the employees got whiff that when a manager came and tapped you on the shoulder you were laid off promptly. Folks working here were shaking in their boots all day because of it, it was handled soo poorly...
This resulted in many people leaving on their own as they find other jobs that are more stable. I do not blame them.
So, overall, the stress level is very high, you get way more than you can handle in implementation, it’s just a ton of work and there is not enough resources to cover all that needs to be covered – this results in poor quality.
In general, Paycor management is very secretive, they band together into groups and have their favorites. I see an ADP acquisition in the future
