Thread regarding Fidelity Investments layoffs

I AM LEAVING!

All I ever heard was how terrible a company Goldman was because they would just fire the bottom 10%.

Now, I hear they are doing the same thing at Fidelity.

I feel sick every time I go to work.

Even if I don't get laid off - and I probably won't because I am rated S right now and am customer facing and usually hit my stats - I AM LEAVING!

I just can't work for another wicked organization that brings more bad than good into the world.

It's sickening to watch the way corporations are like the kings and we are the servants.

Just waiting around for them to decide our fate. Yuck!

Upset about a layoff? Wait until a director or vp says they dont like you, are taking your bonus to zero and putting you in a plan. 6 months ago you were an E.

It's called the real world. It's Fidelity.com not Fidelity.org. Let us all know when you find Utopia. Yes, it s---s. I get it. There are no guarantees in life. You need to grow a thicker skin or at least get a helmet, or your life is going to be super hard.

I promise you I am not whiny, entitled or otherwise engaged in gender studies. Just venting a little how I feel. I am sorry if that threatens those without feeling. Wouldn't anyone feel a little betrayed? Why so many bullies? Maybe if you're the ones staying then Fidelity doesn't have a long way to go down. I hope that's not true, because i honestly am thankful for a lot of my job and for the training at Fidelity. I just don't think it excuses other behaviors.
