Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Is this symptomatic across Intel?

Intel mobile has a discipline problem. Most of the infineon losers are jumping into the next big thing, 5G. Only a few teams in U.S. are keeping things going on life support. What a mess!

Laughing out loud at the "Infineon losers" thing. Between the drama queens in Dramalore and the Americans who have to be micromanaged on an hourly basis to get any work done and who need to work 16-hour days to reach German productivity levels, the "Infineon losers" were the ones who kept the ship afloat.

And OP thinks people should stay in 4G? Please remind me, OP, how much money are we making with that right now? Intel could shut down all 2G/3G/4G development tomorrow, and it wouldn't even cause a blip on anyone's radar.

People keep complaining that Infineon was late with LTE, and the same people are now saying that we shouldn't put our best resources into 5G so that we can be late on 5G.
