Reading this site.
Reading the Facebook cablevision friends site seeing how many people are really leaving.
Just walking in every day knowing it could potentially be your last.

Wait till your a "senior guy" with no health benefits when your old and you need them.
Sorry, lots of us "senior" guys don't see pulling a lasher or hanging fiber with electrical tape as being bypassed... we'll see who gets the call to do the splicing and activation when the time comes.
Actually the email from PP was pretty depressing. Was hoping it was true.
Verizon hires on workers and just before they get into the union they are let go.
not sure what altice techs make but i would guess a lot of techs left to go to vz as they are hirinig on the outside for 30+/hr and union benifits
I keep reading all these different posts about people calling others idiots or being dumb or what not ...there should be one thing being focused on...people are working and not getting checks or missing hours and wages on the checks ! All other changes become mute or take a back seat at that point ! I keep reading and hearing of techs and employees getting incorrect pay checks ! Go online guys and file a complaint with your local state labor division ...
It is a clear sign when you bypass senior techs to do FTTH and have F/S techs doing the work.
It is sad that idiots post false information on this site(as a joke or just pure foolishness).
The time to organize is a little too late.Altice told techs that were below standard that they were promised entry into ATS and later told they would be relocated or a package offered.We were promised we would be "Whole" as far as cable benefits and now some are forced to dig into retirement benefits.
Altice is no where near done with employee benefit cuts.I do not agree with the people leaving altice with or without a package to go to spectrum but I do empathize with them.Altice crossovers are like Syrian refugees,they can't stay in a war zone so they travel abroad.In there new found land they are not welcome by many but they have support their family despite ridicule and hatred.

I would say this site cause every day it's a different post about who there letting go of or what's getting taken away from us that we worked hard for to get and instead of everyone organizing and protecting what we have like the important stuff like are JOBS are FUTURES are BENEFITS are PTO and OVERTIME they would rather sit there and wait till it's there turn to get the cuts it doesn't make sense why people wouldn't want protection you have a car you have car insurance you have a dam house you have home owners insurance when your sick you have medical insurance why wouldn't you want job insurance doesn't make sense why you wouldn't and as far as the scabs running to charter when the strike is over and they decided to keep a few of you guess what you will be union to so wake up and get this done strength is in numbers more shops means more bargaining power gives us the upper hand.
I am just praying the re-offer the packages.
