I spent 8 years with Comcast in the corporate office - I liked it overall but we did have some layoffs and that made things unstable. I left a couple years ago and I am working for a much smaller company right now - you are not a number here and I appreciate this. I liked the Stock Purchase Plan we had at Comcast and insurance was good with good options and good coverage.
But, at Comcast salaries were lower and the mood was dismal since day 1. There is something about this company, it just wears you down. I hear that Altice (Cablevision) may be taking you over, if that happens good luck - my wife works there and they have layoffs all the time - they are very stringent on expenses as well. If you work for Comcast spend a couple of years there, put it on your resume and find a smaller company that will appreciate you more.
