Why does Uber still want Meg Whitman as CEO?

Things must be REALLY bad over there for them to want to commit seppuku

I was hoping they would hire her. At least I'd know which stock to short sell for once.

Uber has already hired a CEO. They hired an executive from Exdpedia.

Going to be interesting to see how she will offshore the drivers. I guess "virtual" rides with mass video automation simulating a ride will be the strategy.

she is waiting for q4 results and will likely be let go. she will get her 92 million dollar severance and walk into a new job.

gotta love corporate greed

Any company that is looking for ways to brutally cut costs, kill research, kill employee benefits, kill morale, they need to look no further than HPE/HP past and present executives. You can choose from any of the ones that have held C-level positions at HPE/HP since 2000. They will get you what you want and some more.
