Certain SVP talked about KRK and BLR being $13 and $17 an hour for development vs $70 on average in TX. Used the term streamlining workflows (aka offshoring) the ship is sinking.

KRK having quality engineers is not true anymore. Load manager owned by KRK is a massive failure story that created bad reputation with the customers.
BLR has good talent, count is few, and they are in top companies. Majority people are quick to make kids, but don't have brains to think that their poor working practice will result in less trust in employer and will impact future generation.
Agree with your thoughts. Sabre should be the given the award of being the "Worst Employer"
The Word is Out in KRK.
Sabre was rate the best employer in KRK, not anymore.
Due to the string of layoffs since 2013 and uncertainty, Sabre is not the first choice for the polish talent and there are many big and better software shops in town than before.
So, gone are the days of "Good Engineers from KRK" and yes they can still over-engineer and create framework upon framework which are often overkill and are a maintenance nightmare and we all know about re-writes.
BLR has never risen to its promise. I was shocked to see the leadership decision to setup Sabre command center in BLR. Rarely any major issue gets resolved in BLR, I guess they are only to email logs to DFW or KRK.
Sabre should outsource everything now to KRK because they have quality engineers :)
On senior level we can say that 13$ is not correct value, it's closer to 20-25$ in current rate (1pln = 0.27$) when we calculate all costs borne by Sabre for particular employee. Its still less than in US
KRK has quality engineers and are for less cost than US, BLR has average engineers compared to KRK and are for less cost than US, which is good for companies. US has quality engineers only in top companies, but not in Sabre, not worth paying $70.
