Thread regarding ADP layoffs

No longer drinking the ADP Kool-aid!

I was set go from ADP several months ago. It was a shock as I worked 15+ years with the company. I had been worried about all the rumors about offices closings. I never thought it would happen. Now, they are looking to save a buck by hiring college kids....great. They will never survive. I hear stories of them not being able to get thru the training. Crying, being stressed out etc. Ha, wait for year end! They are all in for a rude awakening.

At first I was very sad, now I am thrilled I no longer work there. I found a job rather quickly, companies are interested in ADP workers. Probably because they can't get any service from their payroll company anymore.

More buildings and cuts just happened again this week. Several locations closed as of May.

Lowering their standards and desperation will not save them. I feel bad for the remaining associates, as well as the new lower cost employees. At least, for the latter, they don't have much invested into the company yet and can get some work experience and put ADP on their resume.

As for the company itself, it will go down and it will go down hard. If it wasn't for its remaining employees I would feel that the company can go to ****.

ADP will hire anyone now for a lower wage. From college kids to culinary art queens and slap them with a manager badge to make them feel important.

I would THINK the young, college kids are seeing this site and reading the brutally honest comments...since it somehow is feeding into FB and Twitter. Maybe they are just mesmerized by the shiny new buildings in the super centers.

They need to create some safe spaces at ADP for the new young low-paid associates, along with some low-stress coloring books, crayons, and some cute puppies.

My advice to anyone working at ADP: if your mgmt team starts acting "off" or mgrs start shifting to new jobs; mgmt gives vague answers about future direction or plays crazy mind games; says 'we dont have a dept budget'; cant seem to stay the course on things (i.e. changes their minds constantly); or flat out says "we are not sure whats going to happen"...these are HUGE red flags that you need to look elsewhere.
