Is this effecting pharmacy or the store ?? Do anybody know of this info??

I feel like Walgreens has gone backwards by about 25-28 years by reducing 24hr store pharmacy and store locations. The closest 24 hr pharmacy to my home is CVS. My closest Walgreens store posted the closest 24hr Walgreens pharmacy and then a few weeks later, the posted pharmacy showed that it was no longer 24hrs.. nothing else’ was listed in its place,
It is the pharmacies and pharmacists that will be affected. And with them being allowed to acquire Rite Aid....where do you think you are going to get a job???? I have been a pharmacist for 37 years, worked for 10 yrs with Walgreens and got let go. To young to retire even though there " is no age discrimination " do you really think I am going to find a job????
Just got the news wish i could sue been there more than a decade. My options are to fight for a position against everyone or take severance package. Im not sure its worth it working for a company that has no soul
Same here in Tallahassee. Both RPN's are being laid off. No other options given them. No 24hr pharmacy within 200 miles

I am an overnight RPh and I got the bad news a few days ago that our store is going non-24 hours. As far as WHEN this will happen or what the plan to compensate for the loss of the overnight pharmacists is still in question. We are a Tier 4 location, averaging >700 Rxs on Mondays, and 600 on the weekdays, having a solid lead the area in scripts entered and sold. Yet, we were the ones to go!
