Thread regarding Altice USA (Cablevision) layoffs

I got layed off from Altice in May as a collector. Managment begged us to go work for the sleazy contractor who took our jobs(no base salary,no benifits, no health insurance, no vacation and so on). out of 60 collectors not one would go to work for those slime balls. Yesterday me and some of my coworkers got a letter from the ALTICEUSA VP of Collections (RS)(our former boss) begging us to go work for his contracting buddies. He said we can negotiate our benefits witht the contrcactor. that is the contractor who told the Optimum collectors in a meeting we were overpaid and undrworked. I guess the low lifes that they hired to replace us couldnt do the quality of work we could. the contrator is real slick caus when they met with us in the spring they called themselves RCH CABLE now they call themselves CABLUS, (sleazeballs remember your one google search away from the truth). I hope the altice collections VP got paid somehting from the contractor to let us go caus now he gets to be their HR recruiter. Glad I'm away from them.
