Thread regarding Staples Inc. layoffs

How many wrongful termination suits are there presently?

This article was posted earlier but taken down. It is on Reddit as well. My old store in CA was just as bad trying to get rid of people. Glad I am out, but sad for those who are still there and those who were let go in such underhanded manner. This is the ugly side of corporate for sure.

Suing is not always the best option.....takes years to resolve, causes severe stress, anxiety, and depression. Everyone doesn't get millions and frequently, makes it very difficult to find future employment. I was fortunate that I was a year away from retirement after 20yrs . Signed an 8 page confidential agreement , received a severance package and left. My heart goes out to all of those individuals who gave it their "all" and were kicked to the curb. Be kind to yourselves and move on.

I know of 5 going on in R1 by GMs fired by VS. There's likely more.

That was awful. Maybe the failure of Staples is karma. The only problem is the ones who have been working on the front lines will get nothing and those up top will take the lion's share. Sad.
