Thread regarding Technicolor layoffs

Get rid of Technicolor Lawrenceville (exCisco)

Technicolor got rid of the hardest working people and left the useless people that know how to work the politics to keep their jobs..

For a change, please spin off Technicolor France, there is no growth there. Technicolor should not lay off the expert people that make a difference!!

Get rid of Technicolor Lawrenceville (exCisco) most of the people are, in my opinion, fairly useless... Then, you go and and re-hire the people that grew Technicolor 5-6 years ago from almost closing down to be a success...

That's your recipe for reviving this almost dead company...

The political differences between SciAtl/Cisco vs. Technicolor were too extreme. TCH said they wanted to adopt the LWR "best practices" which made them successful, but then seemed to ignore them all. No excuses were given, but probably they were either too expensive or "that's not the way WE do it at TCH."

Anyone with talent started looking for a new home or got paid extra to stay.

I left after 15 years in that business.

In end, TCH was right because they only wanted the commodity business; it's heading into the toilet anyway.

There are a few of us left that are worth our salt in LWR. And I don't agree that Technicolor got rid of our hardest working people... some maybe but many left on their own volition when they saw the writing on the wall. And Technicolor France? That is corporate headquarters... you obviously have no idea how corporations work. Finally, do you think the people that were laid off or quit would want to come back to Technicolor?
