Thread regarding Syntel Inc. layoffs

Something or nothing going correct

Things are not working out the way they should be.

By saying things on emails doesn't work out.

Something is missing, nothing is working out.

Clients, projects, infrastructure, facilities, hike, promotion, employee satisfaction, nothing is looking good.

Something is wrong somewhere.

Nothing seems to be working.

It's a void.

People are swiping in swiping out 9 hours.

Done.

Actually there is no automation is it just noise being made to justly layoff off of senior members.

In any industry including IT seniors handle more complex and risk jobs and newbies simple less risky ones.

Software is all about automation not now it has been like that ssnce 70s.

Opensource repackaged labelled bots software cant replace software engineers.

it is just greed and slavish mentality of Indian who surrendered to price pressure for easy short terms profits and destroyed value of Indian IT services, no to sustain high profits forcing seniors to resign.

indian companies including infosys have zero foot print in real digitlal, bigdata, IOT, Machine earning, and RPA areas .

Synel is crap..They talk about automation & thus laying off employees.. Automation creating more issues than resolving in IT sub contractor industry... These hotheads go to the west & tell them that their Software Engineer s will work like slaves for 500 USD month .. thereby imposing poverty on these blue eyed Software engineers..

Analytical graph would also show polarization of female employees at higher and quicker promotion levels than their male counterparts.

Staffing model would move eventually to smaller and newer start-ups, and companies like Syntelx would be left to work on legacy obsolete tasks.

Over years some or other good professionals who joined by mistake used to open new doors and rescue failing customer accounts, before they were cheated, back stabbed and thrown out/made to leave, now real professional have grown wiser thanks to word of mouth, and not joining dubious companies who sport beautiful buildings and landscapes thanks to tax breaks of government

what is left are bunch of masterful actors(bollywoods envy) who talk and talk their way up .... DMs DDs VPs, practice Heads....who don''t have any insight other than copies of competitor''s presentations and proposals etc....

The current situation is such that employees have to find and retain own customers and get themselves billable.

PDAC, and DD, DM are not in a position to grow or retain customers.

Entire machinery of sales, delivery, governance is stationary.

Nothing is moving.
