I'm not sure if it's all the layoffs that've been happening, the leadership, or something else entirely, but the culture at Cox Auto has become toxic, at least when it comes to corporate. People are unfriendly, which I could deal with, but everybody is also trying to trip up other people, refuses to help, and is trying to get credit for something they definitely didn't do. This is not a sign of a successful company, that's for sure.

It started to spiral as soon as Chip was put out! Now look at TrueCar killing it!!! Very very sad that the category killer, who invented the category itself is now a fast sinking ship!
THEY ARE RACISTS
I worked at Autotarder.com for sometime and I could say it was a great experience! I started as a AC and quickly became a part of the management team. I learned a lot about the automotive industry and gained great insight on how to connect my customers to their customers. Unfortunately things changed and my last 18 months at Autotrader.com were worst period of my professional career. The culture of the organization swiftly became unbearable! It became a dog eats dog mentality with no clear direction. One region had a secret meeting to put together talking point and a plan in place to explain to a qualified African American 3X sales person of the year winner why he did not get a sales role. Everyone was more worried about covering their butts than getting the job done! The crab in a barrel mentality was alive and well at Autotrader!

Obama, "that's what they called me"
leading through change is tough...working during a layoff s---s....doesn't matter where you are.
But to imply we're not here to win is crazy.
Totally agree seems like there are other divisions fighting for decision making control and shutting out the people who really know what they are doing in fear of losing their own jobs...horrible culture.
