Thread regarding ADP layoffs

A disaster

It seems the pathetic coward, Carlos Rodriguez is now worried about his own a--. I have no doubt Bill Ackman is simply another greedy slob who is concerned about nothing other than the share price, and having him get a Seat on the board will in no way help the good employees that will continue to be let go no doubt. I guess it's kind of like choosing between Stalin or Hitler. Nonetheless I can't help but hope Carlos gets tossed out on his pathetic a--. He accused Bill Ackman of getting his information from disgruntled employees. Does that mean those disgruntled employees are lying about what a disaster this company has become? I think not.

It's easy to see what is going on from the client end as well. It is obvious that the old, experienced employees are mostly gone, and new, poorly trained people haved taken their place.

The most important things ADP offers are tax withholding and customer service. And without good customer service, you can't be sure you are doing your tax withholding right.

Typical story of an egomaniac ruining a company.

I think everyone should get a resume ready. You are kidding yourself if you think your position is long term.

I know everyone's on edge, but try to keep it kosher. Would hate to see a good post gone, just because of few bad words. This is anonymous site, but it has some basic rules. Personal insults and using derogatory language in general is not allowed here, and site admins can be brutal. Can check their rules yourself, it's in the page footer.

Whether Carlos is removed or not, more ADP associates are going to be thrown out. There is no doubt about that. The only question is how fast. ADP is in the process of removing virtually ALL of its experienced associates and replacing them with cheap workers. Multitudes of tenured associates have already been let go since last year (under Rodriguez's direction) and many more are going to be thrown out within the next few months (whether under Rodriguez, Ackman, or whoever else is placed in command). Neither Rodriguez or Ackman are there to look out for the associates. They are both cutting costs, just in their own way. In either case, the end result for the experienced associates is not good.

You people have no idea what's coming if Carlos is removed. Do you really think Ackman and team are going to look out for the associates? They've already said ADP is fat with associates. If Carlos and team lose this battle, he may be out, but a heck of a lot more of us will be too. What Ackman is really saying is that Carlos hasn't moved fast enough or far enough in cutting costs, and costs to ADP are primarily associates. Hang on tight, and pull for the current management team to win this fight, or start floating your resume soon!

It is great to see Rodriguez sweat for a change. He made his employees sweat it out while their colleagues were thrown out right and left. Who would be the next people thrown out? Everyone was wondering and sweating. Now, it might be Rodriguez. What a pleasant thought!

I agree with your comnent. Nothing will be more gratifying to see the CEO get tossed out the door like he deserves. He doesn't give a sh-- about any of the employees he's only concerned about himself.
