Thread regarding McKesson Corp. layoffs

McKesson HR, Director of operations fired many innocent and great workers that I know for political reasons. I believe that those individual and McKesson will pay for this some day. I may not have enough money to fight back however there is a justice in this world and everyone will pay for their cruel act. I am in good hands last 3.5 years with different company and I will live long enough to hear more about those who caused you pain while enjoying their joy moments....

Be strong and change your history again as I did mine....

I would NEVER uproot my family or relocate to accept another McKesson position.

Just beware if you do: Layoff frequency, high outsourcing, no support from HR, high turnover, no training, poor management, dated systems and basically NO tech support.

If you are single, are mobile, have plenty of savings and self dignity, then go for it if you have no other choice.

But also pause and think about what your morals are and how you want to feel going into work each day. Even if I was offered a 20k raise, I would've left anyway. Life is too short to jeopardize your happiness and sanity. One person can't do the work of 4 plus educate the Indian labor on how to replace you.

Based on the recent exit of many top level executives, the opioid crisis and stock situation, I'd say McKesson is volatile right now.

I am actually thinking about taking a job with the company in Atlanta. From these comments I have pause and concern about it. Do you think it would be a mistake?

Announcement made last week in Las Colinas, TX office, several jobs going to Genpact.

Why you ask? Oh, because they do such a good job!

Relocate Carrollton, TX employees and One Post staff to Las Colinas, then can them and send their jobs to India. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Wonder how Texas feels about that since they gave McK so many cash incentives to bring employees there??????

That's how they RIF everyone. It shouldn't be a surprise by now. No doubt people will complain no matter what tactic the company uses.

Can someone elaborate on the new SOC in India? I am curious and need details about this....

Sitting in that dreaded conference room hearing that you have been let go of a job you have had for 10+ years was b---s---, however after evaluating the employees that was in that tiny piece of sh-- room with me made me realize they had to pick the higher paid most experienced employees that sat there for 2 months not doing a God dang thing on their time and money gave me a little satisfaction. For it being a "fortune 500 company" they were ghetto and cheap as f--- with no damn room for growth and shisty a-- ceo''s pocketing MILLIONS while our underpaid managers were paying out of pocket for us peasant employees to win a turkey at Thanksgiving. Ain't that some sh--? They will plummet soon and I am so GREATFUL for my layoff. It led me to bigger and better things.

I am truly sorry to all that were laid off. I am expecting my notice to be coming sooner than later. They have been pushing for monitoring to be sent to the new SOC in India, that has almost been completed so I believe the tier 1/2 monitoring and support will all be in India before the sale is final. I know Atlanta will not go unpunished and as an American Contractor, no doubt my job will be gone.

This company is filled with sociopaths in its upper management levels. As long they get their MIPS, they'll act like the worst kind of corporate parasite.
