Aflac's no layoff philosophy - FAKE NEWS

#aflaclayoffs

Aflac's only philosophy related to layoffs is to LIE about them and deceivingly call them displacements. The Amos's and their "yes" men and women are shameful in their cruel manipulation of honest people. They intentionally mislead the public..and unfortunately, too many people are desperate to keep their jobs so they either keep silent or cover up the corruption and unethical business practices of the company and its leadership. By doing so, the "puppet" employees make it possible for the abuse of honest people to continue. The result is the execs keep padding their bank accounts making well over $300k...while the puppets are reduced to begging for a modest 2% raise.

To the one that said the only made 8000 in one year as an agent. That's not aflac's faught, that's yours!! You should have gotten off your a-- and went out and sold more!! To make 8000 means you sold 32k in ap that year. Come on dude, I'm in small town Mississippi, and have had many individuals weeks that were more productive than your year!!

As a independent agent I made 8,000 in one year and had to pay 300.00 in taxes. Try living on that. Not possible. No longer with Aflac.

Those that cover up the truth and help those high powered execs take advantage of the rest of us are just as guilty and unethical as the ones they cover for. I hope they lose sleep over the way they treat human beings as property to be exploited for their financial gain, then deposed of like garbage when a cheaper way to get even richer presents itself. Seriously...when do they reach the point of saying "I have enough...I am satisfied with my multi-billion dollar bank account." It is complete BS for anyone to say "this is just business." This company touts the fact that they are family owned and based on family principles. The truth is they are driven by pure greed with no regard for the low profile laborers who helped them reach that millionaire/billionaire status. Even though all of the execs are financially secure for the rest of their lives, they are willing to take the salaries of those of us barely supporting our families to make themselves even richer.

And we all know that the company is not in financial trouble...simply based on the quarterly earnings reports and press releases. The #aflaclayoffs might be more understandable if the company were taking drastic measures to save the company. But that simply isn't the case. The company decided to lay people off as a result of greed.
