At least 12 campuses to close in 2018

Online had no chance of finding a new accreditor. WyoTech has always been under ACCSC but none of the 12 Everests that lost ACICS had been approved by ACCSC yet. There web sites still say they expect to be under new accreditation in early 2017. I heard it doesn't look good at all with ACCSC so they're checking into other accreditation boards. It's looking more and more like at least 12 more campuses will be closing in 2018. The talk around campus is ECMC is trying to sale the 3 WyoTechs to recoup some of the loses. It's hard to sell nearly empty schools to anyone, especially with the lousy reputation we have.

This was posted by @Oz5CvSM-6fab in another thread, but I think he/she is spot on. Expect a number of campuses to close come next year...

Polish the old house and make it look appealing. Dump the money into it as a tax write off and sell it. Make a few students teachers, brain wash them to do the dirty work. Get an office staff of cheerleaders to keep people and students happy. Play a lot of you tube videos in class to keep little minds occupied. keep piling new product in to make the teachers look better and show students how we care. Lower the training information, simplify the training, use the excuse its how the dealers want it. Not like anyone will notice. Oh you timed out of class and went over your hours....no problem just get this paper signed and you can continue on to graduate. Go donate your time on saturday and you can have enough points to pass that class. Seems logical and makes sense to sell it. None of you have a clue what the next step is but what we do know is the student body is not what the projected meeting leaders said. Yes you were lied to. Its a common thing to make one look at the right hand while the left is opening the door so others can slip out the back.

The schools provide ECMC with a way to keep the non-profit label. Just accept the fact that ECMC bought the schools knowing they will loose money and thereby allow ECMC to offset their loan servicing profits. The schools were never purchased to make money or provide a new source of income for ECMC. BTW wasn't Zenith and all the CCI executives supposed to be gone or in prison by now?
