Incoming layoffs at US Xpress have been confirmed... More than 100 folks are slated to be laid off... Most of the affected people are in Chattanooga and Tunnel Hill, but there will be some from other locations as well... It seems that the drivers are the only ones who will be safe in this round...

It was 100 in one day, which followed 35 from two weeks prior.
135 in one month that represented at that time 5% of overall corporate staff which targeted at higher salaried, seniority positions. Severance was paid to some, but not all of these.
