Larry chooses as his successor for a highly motivated and forward looking energy company to a Canadian lawyer. Ouch! Next in line is a Jerry Sandusky look-a-like that possesses no vision or inspirational leadership traits. Result is a once proud and vibrant company that is now a mediocre middle of the road follower. What a shame! Effective leadership and an inspired vision are a thing of the past in this organization

Drain the swamp.
Thats's what's sad about Devon. You learn how to punch-in info into it's specialized programs and then when you leave, that skill is useless. Yeah, Devon cuts a nice check, but man does it eat away at doing anything worth-while.
That place is a joke. Turned in my notice of resignation and was told I am a non-contributing piece of sh** by hr and upper level management, asked to leave same day, and still...I mean still months later am getting phone calls on my personal cell phone from Devon employees asking wtf is the status of projects are and what is done because nobody knows how to use any of the materials that were provided and designed by Devon to track projects. Tell me where to send my invoice. Oh at least they did apologize for calling me 7 times since I was walked out...so it is ok.
Time to shut your yapper and get back to work?
