You guys need to get this done. Stick together, like verizon techs did. Set the trend for other shops to follow. Wall street doesnt believe the hype and neither should you thats why the stock hasnt moved since the ipo. Its a sham. Most of those shares were purchased by our execs.

For several years I worked as a tech at Suddenlink Amarillo, and I wish this opportunity to unionize had happened back then. As an individual hourly employee, there is very little you can do to influence a company's policies to your benefit. It doesn't matter if you are a top performer and are well respected. But as a collective, you have a much stronger influence and an opportunity to negotiate terms to your benefit. I'm not saying that unionizing is the end-all be-all for labor, but it will work in your favor. In the end, all policies need to serve the interest of the company in order for the business to remain viable, but without the union, the policies tend to tilt to "Best for the Company" and "Okay for the Labor". With the union it becomes more "Good for the Company" and "Good for the Labor".

Ok Texas lets shine, I'm sure other systems will follow suite; remember that this company has brought it upon their own selves. Don't be fooled by short-term promises and remember that this is a long-term investment in protection.

Were they drawing the pie chart in the meetings? BTW they told all the North East teams that ats was already implemented in SL territories. It's a sham!

And there you go. The reason things are going down the toilet. No concept of the big picture. Unionizing 1 shop in 1 company does nothing. Unionize the industry. But that's not in your CWA or IBEW reps interest. Because in the end the unions are a business too. They make money on us.

No one owes Local 3 anything. You only owe loyalty to your family. If anyone thinks those jokers on strike would lift a finger to help out Altice techs you are sadly mistaken. You know what your brothers look like.

United until half of ATS leaves to go scab for Chartervision! There's no one here not out for themselves only. If you wanted to stand by your union brothers, you wouldn't be stealing their jobs. By the way, karma will catch up with you, and it is a b****!

I say do what you feel is right texas. But never compare new york salaries to yours . We live in the most expensive place in the north east. You would never make it here on your wages. But i dont disagree that you guys dont get paid well.

Our top execs stand to make up to a 70 million bonus with the ipo whether altice/ats succeeds or fails. What have you gained/ lost in the past year? Hilber is such a snake. Alot of our managers and vps served his kool aid and they couldnt live with themselves any more , constantly feeding bull crap to the employees. After telling the employees everything will be so great those managers, vps, etc were leaving for charter, fiber companies, etc. If it was going to be soo great than why did they leave...?

"Just hope it's enough."

That is the wrong attitude. "Hope" will not win an union election!

You better get in the ears of your fellow techs and all get on the same page immediately. Everyone's vote counts!

It is imperative that you guys not be afraid to publicly show your union support. It's your legal right to do so.

Management will continue their 'captive audience' meetings where they will preach how much you don't need a union and to trust them.

DO NOT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY SAY

PLEASE LEARN FROM THE MISTAKES OF OTHER ALTICE SHOPS

Bronx (1/5/2017): 92 FOR / 113 AGAINST

Newark (4/13/2017): 53 FOR / 60 AGAINST

Hilber is already here, they separated us all into 3 separate groups and had 3 separate meetings. Tomorrow we have another meeting with more corporate people and Hilber said he would be back next week and for the next several weeks until our vote.

Hilber already booked his flight to Amarillo. He will be there early next week to serve you Suddenlink techs lots of Kool-Aid.

He has served plenty of it up here in the New York area and the majority of techs were instantly brainwashed and have yet to recover.

Many technicians have either jumped ship and/or staying on board wishing they had never trusted management.

Do yourself and your families a huge favor...

STAND STRONG

STAY UNITED

DO NOT ALLOW YOURSELVES TO BE FOOLED BY MANAGEMENT

VOTE 'YES'
