Today I have lost 8 Coworkers they were/are hard working individuals, and at the end of the day the company put them in an untenable situation and chose the latter, to take the bogus two week per year severance god bless and good luck you will be missed Bx stand up you lost soldiers today

a total of 60 technicians were lost across the Optimum footprint. (another 50+ forced to relocate)
The NY Public Service Commission will continue to keep their eyes closed and pretend that Altice isn't circumventing the 'Job Protections' condition of the agreement.
"The Commission will prohibit Cablevision from laying off, or taking any action effecting an involuntary reduction (excluding retirement incentives and attrition), in any customer-facing jobs in New York in the four years following the issuance of this Order."
“customer-facing jobs” is defined to mean those positions with direct interaction with customers; including, but not limited to call center and other walk-in center jobs, and service technicians.
It's happening and will happen for Suddenlink in the west coast, expect some California offices to close and some jobs lost. Experienced professional personnel will almost be forced out with the new QC members of Altice USA, with less experience trying to tell you what to do. ATS employees best of luck
The company lost a lot of people today that fell victim to the severance package. Good for them at least they have something. Something is always better than nothing nowadays . Good luck in the future to those hard working employees of what was Cablevision .
