Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Doesn't look safe.

I was offered a position as a tech consultant for a federal customer, but all this merger layoff business has me pretty much turned off from HPE. The pay offer is very generous, but with this being my deciding factor of staying in the military or not, and all this bad news, I guess I better just stay in!

You have made a good move. Don't look back. HPE / HPI / DXC is a mess. Thank you for your service to the United States of America. You will do well!

Stay put chief. Pay and benefits are better. Base pay is pay only taxed all your other allowances make you out to be a king and are not taxed. Also w 20 years U get free medical and retirement and AUTOMATIC pay raises. You don't have to deal with the BS in the private world. HPE screwed enough of our military vets and it will soon be an Indian company anyways. Then you will be treated like the enemy. just my two cents.

HPE is a FUBAR wrapped up in a SNAFU. Staying in is a better option.
