Wardell and others being sued by shareholders

Devry is not long for this world as the officers are being sued by shareholders. This will result in another huge hit to the bottom line. htt://courthousenews.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/01/devry.pdf

The thing is most of us who have worked here know of shady practices and the BS they give to students. They would have to lay off almost everyone. There is enough old paperwork and ads out there that all they have to do is get a hold of some old students to get that. They tried to purge anything with the placement statistics supposedly as part of the settlement they had with the FTC. But you knows it's still out there if they want to use it for this case too.

Now the layoff of the Career Services people makes even more sense. This department was responsible for communicating the false messages. The corporation wants to get rid of anyone who had knowledge of the lies being told so the plaintiff will have a hard time calling them as witnesses, and their case might be weakened.

The person who is claiming that the lawsuit is frivolous is probably a paid attorney for Adtalem. This is a class action suit on behalf of all shareholders and if the plaintiffs win, each of the defendants will have to pay back the value of the stock that was lost due to their fraudulent actions. The lawsuit reveals the DeVry corporate officers to be nothing more than a bunch of common thieves who enriched themselves by lying to students, the SEC, and shareholders. The lawsuit will prove that the officers knew that what they were saying was false but continued to say it anyway, and that "the

Company used a system of waivers and opt-outs to select only certain students for

inclusion in the student outcomes statistics, and also counted certain students as being

employed in their chosen field of study even though those students’ jobs were unrelated

to their studies." Here is the notice: http://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/ryan--maniskas-llp-announces-class-action-lawsuit-against-devry-education-group-inc-300275071.html

Does anyone know whether this is the same Harriet Myers who ran the Chamberlain campus in Miramar, FL?

That is the best written record I have seen yet. It clearly shows our long and consistent history of dishonesty, manipulation, and hypocrisy, all of which is verifiable by public record. It even details allegations made by employees, some of which I can confirm myself. It is an excellent case.

Best of luck to the plaintiff.
