Hello - do you have more info about any plans to change severance payments for the US based employees. If yes, do you know what the new severance play would be and who may be affected. I know that in Europe they have different laws and that if laid off, the government prescribes what needs to be paid out but I am interested in the USA only. Thanks in advance!

yes 2 weeks per year of "service". it does not stop if you get a new job; they actually offer you assistance with a head hunter!!! Mytime??!!! who can even afford to take their allotted vacation days!?

Just announced a new severance package today... 2 weeks per year of service up to 26 wks for $200K
Nielsen just got rid of earned vacation so they don't have to payout for future RIFS. They started something called "myTime" which just has everyone working vacation time out with their managers.
What's the standard package?
