I was laid off this week after 5 years while I was on PTO no less. Made it out to be a group call regarding "organizational changes" and it was just me, upper manager and HR and I was the organizational change. Nice. Felt so duped, yet again by Frontier. Supporting three teams and never had any performance issues. Thousands of hours invested in that org. I am however a senior and was just granted WAH due to med issues. Not the first time I've observed that coincidence either. Probably for the best in the end but with three people in college, should be interesting times ahead.

You are right we are all just a number. They don't even consider your work performance when they layoff. I honestly believe ther is a little of age discrimination going on. They hired way too many people and are now letting the seasoned folks go and keeping the new employees that don't have the experience but less pay!

Just like PA, be prepared because they will cut you too. Doesn't matter how many years of service, I had 22 and many here had more years and yet we were still a number. Also, to promise a bonus you work for all year long and then a week before you are expecting it, oops sorry no bonus for you. If your still there don't believe that they will pay bonuses again, ever. Trust me, start looking because everyone is just a number and years of service, dedication, tireless hours of fire drills, etc. There is life after Frontier, a much greener one.
