It's funny that Mindy is taking over. Historically speaking she wasn't very well liked by most of the people still there.
Any stories of the nightmare IT debacle anyone would like to share.?
If you haven't heard... Gerrit is "retiring". Another way of giving a golden parachute to someone that caused this mess.
Have some friends who's employers went the IT out source route.
Always a mess. Never had any decent support. Just a horrible experience.
I hope the " cost savings" were worth the stress and confusion.
Because they weren't.
Speaking of Gerrit, I heard he is in hot water and is blaming Infosys for everything. Too bad they got rid of their top tier IT department. Rumors floating around how much longer will IT be outsourced before they try to build it all back up internally.
Too bad they didn't outsource the CIO position and get rid of Gerrit.
The Seanagra is tanking and they are making cuts wherever they can to save money.
And the crapweasles get big bonuses and golden parachutes.
No company has ever successfully cut their way to prosperity.
And neither will Seanagra.
It is doomed
Sorry folks.
Get your resume ready!
what is the point of these layoffs?
It looks like drinking Sean's purple kool-aid was a very bad decision for some people.
So let me get this straight. Sean spent untold hundreds of thousands of dollars in relocation costs to move people to Chicago only to lay them off a few months later?
That makes so much sense for a "lean and mean" company. Right?
Does anyone else smell the rancid stink of fear and desperation emulating from the offices of Sean and his crapweasles?
Although sad who in his right mind would have trusted Sean who has consistently lied to everyone since he became CEO?
You move to Chicago and boom you are gone.
I'm so done. I have been waiting it out for a severance but I looks like they want to drain me of my knowledge for as long as they can. I can't take anymore. The most toxic environment I've ever been in.
This is the same ConAgra has done after purchasing a company. They purge the remaining staff that actually know what is going.
It is very clear that Sean and his crapweasles believe that they know better than the people that have decades of experience.
Several mid and mid-senior level marketing jobs were eliminated too, including Director of Digital and Social, community managers, the entire content marketing group, and several Consumer Insights positions.
I just feel badly for their families that were uprooted from Omaha and moved to Chicago. Yes, the three let go were Omaha originals.
So this means that Sean is now officially "Dictator" of ConAgra? And will be 100% responsible for mess he has created.
But he will be rewarded not punished for this.
As for the positions stated below eliminated their separation package will be much sweeter than what rest of us received. As well as the stock options etc. that they received far above what they deserve
I am not wasting my tears on them. If they are fairly competent they will have no problem finding jobs. If not...
The message from Tom McGough states that the roles of President, Grocery and Snacks, VP & General Manager, Premium Meals and VP & General Manager, Frozen Value Meals have been eliminated.
"awww I hope so"
F--k you. Anyone who revels in another individual losing their job is scum.
any update? a lot of views, but no replies
