4 WTX Drilling and Completions Engineers in Four Weeks

All have quit each week. It's a joke around the office, but I'm concerened about our operations. I worked with 3/4 of them and they seemed like sharp guys, and I am worried about recruiting good talent to Midland.

Don't be surprised if more technical staff leave. If someone has a way out they are taking that option. Nobody cares about the incentive bonus or relocation, people care more about not working for retarded managers who lack balls and have no original thoughts. The decent 1 or 2 managers left will be squashed by the stupidity of the others soon. WTX is literally a bunch newbies trying to run the most important asset to the company. Like the poster above said, if you're talented and have a way out you're leaving. If not now wait until next March / April that's when the mass defections will begin.

What are you worried about? We'll just hire more incompetent people and create another layer or 2 of management. It's the BH and CM way. Who's cares about the drilling & completion guys anyway?

It's hard to recruit good talent to Midland. If someone is good at what they do, they have options. And people with multiple options don't take the Midland option. Even if it means slightly less pay.
