Thread regarding Sapient Corp. layoffs

I have joined 4 months before. still struggling to get a project.They are forcing Java resources to work in front end technology.you cannot say no.within probation it is high risk to get fired.They will say to you that they have plenty of requirements which is not true. There will always be a fear of getting fired. Never join this company if you like stability.

Hi ,I just joined Sapient Bangalore ,initially for 2 month it okay for me even high work pressure was there I was able to manage but from 1 month they have given some work with out thinking on estimation and due to this work I started felling a lot of stress and pressure, my lead , architect and manager are mentally sick they do not understand complexity ,they only want to know when u will complete. They will not support u in any perspective .It is like hell as of now for me so request to think 10 times before joining this company.

Firing is still going on ......if u r on bench dn u will call any time from people Sucess even if u r on project u can also call.so its very worst company they hired u on project need if no project they fire u immediately.they pay u as much more ur expectations so don't see at they r offering see stability .if u r hired u will struggle for project and ur bench manager doest not care about u r getting project or not. They nominates u for any project and when u will go for an interview ur skill set will match and after rejection they will count ur rejection and after 2-3 rejection they will fire u.So believe me if u r going to join u will be in danger zone.Never join sapient.

I am ex employee vof sapient ,trust me this company does not have any project in 2017 and no scope for next year as well,If u r joining u r in trouble.think an ask any existing employee of sap before joining.

Worst company.. Firing is on till date. they are laying off people, mostly Associate. everyone on bench will get fired no matter he came on bench just few days back.ATG, Java, AEM campus recruits, everyone is getting fired

Really, this is not a good company for experience people. Please discuss with your contact before joining this company, in case you don't beleive on these comments. There can give you salary as much as you want. But be aware, you are enetring in danger zone. Few of my known got fired last month. Very annoying. Some of just got married and some were going to be. I tell you few scnerios they are firing:

1) They don't have any projects specially for backend developer such as Java, AEM etc. If you are on beanch more than 2 months, then danger bell will start ringing.

2) You must have to clear the interview before getting into projects. Trust me, this would be touher than you give at the time you join sapient. If you are not able to clear the interview. your countdown will start.

3) When you roll off from your project, you will be in or out of the project will depends on your manager's feedback. The curve they draw, must layoff 2-3 people from the company.

Firing Process : You staffing partner will organize your meeting with people success team. They will give you 2 options ; termination, resignation. Ofcourse you will accept resignation with 2 month salary. Then same time you need to submit your ID card, laptops etc. Member from PS team will escort you till exit gate and book the taxi for you for your home.

Totals Layoffs : 1000 Approx including GM and Nitro

Forecast : Company doesn't have much projects in pipeline, specially for Java/J2EE/.Net etc technology. Everyone currently working in this company fighiting for their survival.

They are firing on daily basis at every level. I am an Associate L1 got fired yesterday only without any genuine reason. First and worst company of my career.

Layoff started again. mostly Associate Level1. one on bench is for sure in danger zone. there will be a meeting with PS, and that will be your last day.

My friends were in fresher batch 2017 at sapientnitro. They got fired in middle of their training.

they fired 2017 fresh recruits. Now the engineering grads have to hunt for a job. Scoundrel. HR Policy s---s

Are campus offers also cancelled?Are we doomed as fresher's as we will find it very difficult to find a job.

Worst company .never join .They hire u on project need if no project they fire u.They are firing continuously these days .If u r on bench so u r in Denger zone.This pay u max salary bt if no project they fire u immediate without any notice period.so if u r experience never join even there paying good salary.seriously never join this company if u r going to join dn be ready for firing

And what about people who are in service bond of 18 months are they also being fired ??

I lost my job and have only an year's experience and now have nowhere to go

As a fresher i missed so many opportunities for this. Now i am so much worried about what should i do.

They are forcing employees to write Resignation letters on plain A4 sheets.

Till date they have fired 100+ employees in Sapient Consulting, without any notice. Worst company to be with.

They hired people in exceptionally high numbers even without future visibility of projects. Both fresher's and experienced are being targeted alike. Worst is for fresher's as it's going to be tough to find other job

Yes you should look for another opportunity as you won't be getting the joining letter anytime soon.

Yes they are firing,freshers and experience both, if you are on bench then any time you can get call from People Success team

Is it true that Sapient will not hire new batch of employees anytime soon? Should the sapient placed students look for other job opportunities?

Are they also firing People who are in service agreement(bond) of 18 months?

what i have heard is they are targetting people with exp. of 2 or more years and most of them associate level.

is there any hope for freshers getting placed through campus placements who havent done internship with sapient?

Heard they are targetting freshers as well , any idea how many have been laid off and whats the target and criteria?Also why is the lay offs happening as they were hiring people with full pace sometime back
